Adults: 500 (450) yen High School, College Students: 300 (270) yen * Fees in parentheses are group rates for 20 or more visitors * Free admission for visitors aged over 70 years, elementary and junior high school students, and preschoolers * Half price for visitors with a physical disability certificate, and half price for one accompanying caregiver

Overview

That famous peak, Mount Fuji, the pride of Japan. Mount Fuji has been close to the hearts of the Japanese people from a variety of standpoints—including as a focal point of song, a famous landmark, and an object of faith since ancient times. This exhibit features a wide array of prints of Mount Fuji, ranging from the ‘famous landmark’ prints of the Edo period to the ‘new prints’ of the Showa period, and including Utagawa Hiroshige’s "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji" and Tokuriki Tomikichiro’s "From Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji."
